IT Strategic Plan and Roadmap

A government agency whose work involved a range of regulatory and investigative functions had developed a high-level strategic plan based on a series of horizons. They required n IT specific plan that would identify the IT objectives which would support each of those horizons and how practically these should be achieved.
Results
What our Doll Martin Associates team delivered was an IT sStrategic Plan which identified the specific IT requirements to support the strategic plan, articulated proposed initiatives that would help the agency meet these requirements, and provided the timeline in the form of a roadmap showing of the delivery priority of these initiatives and the alignment at each stage with the high-level agency strategic plan.
The IT Strategic Plan initiatives included a description of each exercise, the expected tasks to be completed, an estimation of effort and cost, and the expected completion time. Work was done with agency stakeholders to identify responsible owners for each of the proposed initiatives, as well as for the overall implementation and updating of the IT Strategic Plan itself.
